From the party to the robbery

Today has been a very... curious day.
In order to celebrate the end of Easter holiday period, we organized a lunch at El Saler. Nonetheless, in the morning, the weather was not good and we were forced to change our plans. We met in our common place 'Twin Mayans place'. The weather changed quite drastically so we finally decided to go to El Saler. While we were eating, "someone" broke the security system of the two cars. That 'someone' was successful in opening the Twin's car.
Conclusion to this... this seemed a C.S.I. chapter (luckily without a corpse!)
Here is a 10 point section in which I relate the order of events:
1) We went to eat our lunch to the zone of restaurants of La Devesa del Saler. We ate like in a picnic style in some wood tables located between sand dunes. They are there especifically for tourists. We parked the cars in the parking lot of La Devesa and we sat behind a sand dune, in one of those tables already mentioned.
2) When we were eating, we forgot the cold meat in the car. In order not to come back to the parking lot, we decided to eat it later.
3) When we came back to the car, the bag that I carried didn't appear anywhere. However, we thought it was in the deepest part of the trunk of the car since it was full of junk.
4) We had a walk in the beach and then we went to El Palmar. We had a boat trip in La Albufera with the little boat of 'El Tío Pastilla'. We were not conscious that all the car locks were broken (since the cars are opened via remote control)
5) We decided to come back to our hometown because there was a football match planned for 19 hrs. We thought to eat our 'merienda' watching the football match on TV. We weren't conscious of the broken locks since we opened the cars with the remote control system.
6) We sat again in the Twin Mayans place. We decided to declare the bag with the cold meat officially lost without explanation. But, the 'funny' thing was when more things, such as Mona de Pascua from Alberic (a typical sweet dish from that town) and another bag with chocolates, were also disappeared. It was as if Earth had swallowed them.
7) We started then to suspect that one of the girls left the car open and someone robbed the food. While we were sitting, we were talking about that, at least, it was just food, not more important objects like wallets, etc.
8) When we were ready to leave because of the football match, one of the twins realized that her ID card was not inside her wallet. That was when we saw everything at sight. There was neither money in the wallets, nor the ID cards and the car lock was broken. The criminals broke the other car's locks, but they didn't were able to get inside and steal things.
9)We went to the authority (police) in our hometown to dennounce it. They sent us to other authorities (guardia civil). There they told us that it was not their demarcation and that we had to go to El Perellonet to let inspectors see the cars and carry out the complaint. We went from our hometown to El Perellonet. It was an oddisey to find the right place (in fact, in one occasion we ended inside a field full of greenhouses). But the worst thing was that the place was CLOSED! because they only worked from 9 to 15 hrs. Luckily, two of the guards appeared in the right moment. They saw the cars, they only saw that the locks were broken... then they said that we should put our complaint in our hometown, or, we could come back the following day to El Perellonet. We were worried about the ID cards, because we didn't know why the criminals wanted them.
10) We came back to our hometown and we didn't have problems for the complaint here (I still consider that they could have said that just from the beginning, avoiding us the fact of going to El Perellonet...). We were more than an hour in the place, carrying out the complaint. Going back home, we realized that the Twins didn't have their University cards either, also credit cards (although inactive) So, everything was clear, credit card + ID card... they wanted to spend plastic money...
So... in conclusion... and indescriptible day in which we realized the things step by step and in which criminals would have had a magnificent lunch at our expense...
(This story is totally real... unfortunately...)
